Hard to beat a classic. Update it, sure, (like the Ruger LCR), but the humble .38 snub has been doing the job for decades and will keep doing it for decades (at least) longer.

yes, the grip is a pachmayr, Its a little bigger then the stock grip, but it is way easier to get a hold of it.
