Awesome! I hate short-stroke converted ARs*, and I like your taste in firearms.
*I am more than a little bit opinionated on the subject. I see it as a solution to a problem that doesn't exist and, as far as I am concerned, implementing it demonstrates a colossally poor understanding of just how an AR-15 works, or how to tune an AR-15 to work correctly and reliably. Nonetheless, the mythical problem - stemming from an undeservedly bad reputation - and the ridiculous solution to it continue to be pushed by the industry because they know it will sell.
thanks I try to spread the love around, try not to buy two of the same type of rifle. Unless it is something I really like.
If I want to shoot a piston gun, I will just shoot the AK. I never had a huge problem shooting my DI AR. The only problem that I had, was magazine related. So I see no need to spend more money on a piston AR when the DI guns are fine.
Is that direct gas or a 6940P?
Yea, it is kind of silly. I think all of the Colt marked LE rifles have them.
